ARGENTINEAN TANGO AND FLAMENCO INTENSIVE COURSE

 Miriam Faura and Julian Marcelo Elizari will be running a unique program that will give the opportunity to 20 advanced and professional dancers for all dance backgrounds/circus performers to learn Argentinean Tango and Flamenco dance and percussion technique.

 Selected performers will participate at the Argentinean Tango short film Festival 

 Week-1 Price £150

13th-18th September 2009 with performance on 20th September. (6-8 hours per day  sometimes between 10am and 6pm) with performance at the Film Festival on 20th September

 Week 2  Price £150

21st-25th September 2009 with performance on 25th September.With performance at the film Festival on the 25th September.

3. FLAMENCO MARATHON:

intensive weekend training and performance

Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October

The International Flamenco and Creative Dance Marathon is a very intensive weekend where you will learn and/or improve your Flamenco dance technique with two creative and very experienced Dance Leaders. 

The course is suitable for all levels from beginners to intermediate advanced.

The weekend will include 10 hours training and a final open performance at Noche de Feria with professional Flamenco artists.

Saturday 24th October ;  11am-5pm    Sunday 25th october:  1-5pm      Performance in the evening      Price for training and performance: £99

4. FLAMENCO PERCUSSION INTENSIVE WEEKEND FOR ALL LEVELS

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November

7th Nov  12-5pm    and   8th 12-5pm  Nov.  Ten hours of Flamenco percussion technique and basic Flamenco rhythms intensive weekend with the possibility of participating in a performance in December.

Workshop Leaders Pablo Dominguez and Ruben Perez who have been teaching in our special events. 

This is a great opportunity to learn the Flamenco basic technique and rhythms in a weekend.

Saturdays  11am-12pm  Beginners and 12-1.30 Body Technique (General)

 

After 3 years, Miriam Faura(Choreographer/Artistic DIrector Race and Rhythm DT and Noche de Feria)  will re start her regular classes at Race and Rhythm Space in Tufnell Park. 

Beginners  11am-12pm; Basic body and feet work techniques and Flamenco rhythms thought sequences.  Price £6

General 12-13.30: The classes will be focussed in body work from traditional Flamenco technique to new personal technique developed by the Choreographer from a variety of dance styles. The workshops will allow participants to find more freedom, movement vocabulary and change of dynamics  in their body movements when dancing Flamenco. Price £8
